Alfred Vitelli - 1st Generation
Immigrated to this country from Italy in 1902.
He was a stonecutter in Italy and
continued his trade working at the former
Rollstone Quarry in Fitchburg. He
established
Vitelli Memorials working out of a small shed on
Dumais Street in Fitchburg, MA. |

Mitchell Vitelli - 2nd Generation
Was a well known businessman in Fitchburg.
He apprenticed under his father, Alfredo,
and learned to hand cut and carve monuments.
He moved the business to its current
location on Lunenburg Street. |

Anthony Vitelli - 3rd Generation
Started working with his father, Mitchell,
in 1952. He designed and created many
of the fine monuments and civic memorials in New
England and locally. |

Mitchell Vitelli - 4th Generation
Has been working in the industry since 1981.
He became the sole owner of the company
in 1996. He continues the family tradition
of creating and designing top quality
monuments and civic memorials. |

Nicholas Vitelli - 5th Generation
Is a graduate of UMASS Amherst with a BS degree
in Geoscience. He is apprenticing
under the tutelage of his father Mitchell, to
learn all aspects of the industry. |
